Get Healthed Up'd!

As a junior at Old Dominion everyday as I walk to class I see more and more students eating unheathly without any concern of a very healthy alternative. ChickFila, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and McDonalds business is booming thanks to all of us who continuously eat there. Sure there are fruits and some healthier foods available in the cafe but really who's gonna pick up and apple over a slice a pizza? Its getting so bad that your told you will gain atleast 15lbs your freshman year of college! We need a change and a better grasp on what eating healthy is really about.

I dont mean go eat sum tofu now

  1. Healthyyy... is definately the way to be! It's sad but you're absolutely right about the amount of obese students roaming the campus community looking to gulp down their next big mac with a side of soda. It's time for CHANGE! And, change should definately start in the college diet:)

  2. You are so right. I even hear friends of mine making excuses for the way they eat by saying "well chik fil-a is the healthest fast food place you can eat at" which may be true, but still not considered healthy. Healthy would be Subway, or even Panera, Sushi places or just make a sandwich at home and walk to class. If people insist on eating like pigs, then they should at least exercise. Help your heart out.

  3. That is true and I like what you are saying I am in the process of getting my health together and I am trying to have a better diet. Being over weight is not easy and you can accumilate alot of health problems, so I now take the time to pick out what I eat and hopefully soon I will be physically ale to exercise.
